If you’re an intrepid soul with a love of adrenaline-fuelled travel you’re in luck, because we’ve just launched our Botswana Guided Cycling Itinerary.

Designed for trailblazers and wildlife enthusiasts, the six night adventure through the Okavango Delta is the first of its kind and a safari exploration like no other. Participants will venture along the ancient elephant pathways that have shaped this pristine Botswana landscape for centuries, cycling alongside incredible sightings of wildlife, passing acacia woodlands, wandering riverbanks, mopane forests and savannah grasslands.

Each ride will be led by two specialist guides, one of whom will ride at the front with the other at the back. The guides have cycled and explored these wildlife areas for years and will show you the most magical parts of this landscape cycling between 40 and 70 kilometres each day.

The adventure begins in the safari town of Maun from where you’ll transfer to a site just south of Moremi Game Reserve where the cycling begins. By day three you’ll reach the Khwai River and there’ll be plenty to see around it. The fifth day is when. You’ll transfer to Khwai Private Reserve.

Your professional cycling safari guides will lead you through off-road terrain, including single track game trails and jeep track, cycling between three and five hours per day and uncovering the secrets that pave the animal paths of the Okavango Delta.

The first four nights of the trip will be spent in our luxury mobile safari camp, pitched in different locations, with a back up vehicle never far behind.

The final two nights will be at the stylishly relaxed lodge Little Sable with the option to sleep al fresco at Skybeds on one of the nights, where you’ll be totally star-struck sleeping atop a five metre high wooden platform with only a mozzie net between you and the night sky.

The best routes are often those less travelled. Our Botswana guided cycling safaris travel through some of the most beautiful safari destinations on earth. This could be the wildest ride of your life!
