Name: Camp Kalahari

Where: Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Botswana

Rooms: 12 Meru style canvas tents (6 twins, 4 doubles, 2 family units) with open-air en suite bathrooms.

Activities: Year-Round – Meerkat encounters, horse riding (not included), Bushman walks, game drives.

High Season: (April 16th – October 31st) – Quad biking, star gazing.

Green Season: (Jan 1st – April 15th, November 1st – December 31st) – See the migration of zebra and wildebeest.

Great for: Kalahari specials such as brown hyenas, aardwolves, aardvark and bat-eared foxes, along with lions, elephants, and the annual migration of zebras and wildebeest.

Children: Excellent for children of all ages. There are family units and dedicated activities for youngsters.

Amenities: Swimming pool, library, living and dining area.

Conservation efforts: Makgadikgadi Conservation Initiative: supporting Botswana’s greatest migration.
