Nurturing The Next Generation

At Natural Selection, we foster an unwavering belief that influencing the future generations who will become custodians of the planet, is one of the most significant ways that we can make a difference.

With this in mind, we kicked off 2019 by launching our Environmental Club at Moreomaoto Village Primary School. This project is a collaboration between Meno a Kwena Camp and Elephants for Africa.

Meno a Kwena has been a supporter of the local village school for a long time, and now their partnership with the local NGO is delivering a monthly environmental club that includes lessons and excursions out to the park.

Our team was startled to discover that many of the youngsters had no idea that they lived right next door to a national park, and in helping them visit and understand the area, we are working to shed light on how important the animals are that pass through.

It’s our dream that some of these children might just turn out to be the conservationists of the future.
