Few places touch the soul quite as deeply as the Okavango Delta. This is something those who know and love this place have been saying for years, and one who knows the healing powers of the Delta better than most is our wellness guide Robyn Sheldon.

With over 30 years of experience, Robyn offers nature-integrated healing sessions that are specifically designed to promote deep relaxation and mindfulness, while reducing stress and anxiety and enhancing overall wellbeing. This is not simply a spa experience in the bush, it’s much more than that, it’s the opportunity to come back to wholeness under the careful guidance of an experienced and sensitive practitioner.

“Nature offers profound healing capabilities to bring one back to stillness,” explains Robyn. “These sessions will promote deep relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety to achieve a greater balance and wellbeing in all aspects of life.”

Over the years we’ve seen many guests transform during their time on safari as the stresses of everyday life drift away and they find themselves able to connect fully to their surroundings and immerse themselves in the peacefulness that only nature can provide. From March 2024 our safari guests will be able to benefit from Robyn joining our roster of private guides and hosts. For those eager to recalibrate, recharge and find inner peace and healing in the wilderness, Robyn’s mindfulness and healing sessions are the ideal way to incorporate wellness on safari.

Robyn is based at Thamo Telele on the outskirts of Maun, an ideal place to spend time with her, especially at the beginning of a safari after a long-haul flight or at the end, to get you ready for your flight back home. However, as a specialist wellness guide, she’s also in a position to join guests at any point on safari, offering a wellness experience throughout their stay in Botswana, at all our camps.

Robyn works around the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit and will support you throughout each session which involves deep process work, connecting guests to nature and to their authentic self and purpose. Her sessions are particularly effective for individuals interested in making the most of their time in nature or for honeymoon couples embarking on a new chapter in life.

Robyn will be available in our camps from 1st March 2024.
