Name: Meno a Kwena
Where: A rocky hilltop above Botswana’s Boteti River.
Rooms: 10 classic, en suite tented rooms with quite possibly the best views in the safari game. Don’t forget to make a splash in the outdoor shower.
Activities: Game drives through the Makgadikgadi; cultural safaris and walks with the Bushmen; boat rides; sleep outs; spending time in the floating game-viewing hide.
Great for: This is quite possibly the very best place to see the awesome migration of zebras and wildebeest as they gather at the river beneath the camp. It’s also the perfect place to kick back and relax since you don’t even need to leave your room to watch wildlife. If you do though, keep those eyes peeled for species such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs, and jackals.
Children: This is a fantastic camp for children to visit.
